Personal Information

ABTOS only processes personal information to fulfil the stated objectives and abides to this Privacy Policy, or to any other privacy warning specific to the applicable service.We regularly review our practices of data collection, storage and processing, to guarantee that we only collect, store and process specific personal information that allows us to offer and improve our services.

We take all reasonable steps to ascertain that any personal information is precise, complete and up-to-date, but we depend on your help in order to either correct or update your information when necessary.

Assessing and updating personal information via JOIN US
When you fill in the ABTOS JOIN US section, we try our best and in good faith, to ascertain that you have access to your personal information and are able to correct or delete this data, in case it is not required by law or by legitimate commercial purposes, that we keep it. We ask our users to identify themselves as well as the information that must be assessed, corrected or removed, before your requests are actually processed. Moreover, we reserve the right not to process repetitive or systematic requests, those which require unreasonable technical effort, those which might impact on others’ privacy or which are not extremely practical (for example, requests for information stored as backup), or for those to which access is not mandatory. In any case, when we offer information access and correction, this service is free of charge, unless the request requires unreasonable effort to be fulfilled. Some of our services follow different procedures in order to assess, correct or exclude personal information.

When you register at ABTOS RESEARCH SECTION, we make every effort in good faith, to guarantee that your name and email address remain unknown, even to the ABTOS team, thus ascertaining complete confidentiality, and ascertaining that the research fulfils its final objective, which is to gather data about the number of cases in Brazil.

When we receive formal complaints in writing, to the above address, we get in touch with the aggrieved party directly, to clarify, in accordance with ABTOS policy. We will collaborate with regulatory bodies, including local data protection bodies, to solve any query about transferring personal data, in case this cannot be resolve between ABTOS and the aggrieved party.

Our Commitment

We at ABTOS understand and respect the fact that your personal information must always be, rigourously, under your control. No part of your information will ever be sold, nor shared. Your personal information will never be sold, rented or given to third parties, without your permission. The use of your personal information as specified is necessary for the good running of the services provided by ABTOS.

We reserve the right to unveil your personally identifiable information, whenever required by law, and when we judge it necessary, in order to protect our rights and/or to fulfill court procedures, court sentencing, or legal requirements regarding our website.
